Establishing a Neutral Pelvis

Before we begin our practice, let’s take a moment to bring awareness to the position of the pelvis. Whether you’re lying down, seated, or standing, gently tilt the pelvis forward and back a few times to explore its range. Then, allow it to settle into a neutral position — where the front and back of the pelvis feel evenly balanced, and there’s a natural curve in the lower spine.

Notice how this alignment supports the rest of your posture. Allow the spine to lengthen upward, the shoulders to soften, and the breath to flow with ease. This neutral foundation helps us move with more stability and ease throughout our practice.
