About me

About Esmee...

Exercise has always been my passion, but it became my purpose over 20 years ago when I discovered how it could transform both the body and mind. What began as a personal journey to improve my own fitness quickly grew into a deep desire to help others feel stronger, healthier, and more connected to themselves.

From my early days as an Exercise to Music instructor running weight management classes, to teaching Pilates and incorporating yoga into my practice, I’ve dedicated my career to guiding people in their journey of mindful movement.

In 2000, I was introduced to the Pilates Method, which completely changed my approach to exercise. I experienced its physical and mental benefits firsthand and felt compelled to share this transformative experience with others.

I qualified as a Pilates Mat Work Instructor through the London Pilates Institute in 2003 and have been refining my teaching ever since. My training in yoga complements this journey, allowing me to blend the mindfulness and flow of yoga with the core strength and alignment principles of Pilates, creating a holistic approach to well-being.

I am also a hospital social worker and Practice Educator, where I support social work students. These roles have given me valuable insights into helping individuals navigate various life stages and challenges. Additionally, as a member of the Association of Coaching, I serve as a well-being and emotional intelligence coach, assisting organisations in enhancing employee well-being and engagement.

In my free time, I love sailing in Greece with my husband, spending quality time with my beloved Birman cat, Marley, and staying active through running. I also find joy in rattling a tune out on the piano and guitar whenever the moment arises!
