different.
The most meaningful shifts happen in the slower time of a retreat or workshop.
When we take ourselves out of ordinary life for a day or a weekend, something changes. The nervous system starts to settle. There’s space to move, to rest and to reflect, without the constant pull of what’s next.
Retreats at One Body. Love It. are held in small groups, in beautiful settings, with a genuine intention to restore. Not to perform. Not to achieve. Just to return home to yourself.
I occasionally run workshops alongside retreats for those who want to delve a little deeper without committing to a full residential experience. These are usually half-day or full-day sessions held in small groups and centred around a specific theme. Past workshops have included restorative Pilates and yoga, mindful movement, and back care. Details of upcoming workshops will be shared here as dates are confirmed.

Yin & Restore Workshop: A Journey of Deep Rest...
Saturday 26th September. 10:30 -12:30
£40.00
Step away from the busyness of everyday life and gift yourself two hours of complete relaxation and renewal.
This special workshop blends Yin Yoga, where poses are held for several minutes to gently target the body’s connective tissues and fascia, with Restorative Yoga, which uses supportive props to encourage complete physical and mental relaxation.
As you rest in supported poses, you’ll receive gentle Thai yoga massage-inspired assists. These nurturing stretches, rhythmic compressions and soothing touch are designed to encourage deeper relaxation, ease muscular tension, and help you surrender more fully into each posture. All hands-on assists are optional and can be adapted to your comfort level.
Suitable for all abilities, this workshop is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself in a peaceful, supportive space.
During this workshop you will enjoy:
A calming blend of Yin and Restorative Yoga.
Gentle Thai yoga massage assists whilst resting in poses.
Deep stretching of the connective tissues and fascia.
Time to quiet the mind and regulate the nervous system.
A beautifully restful guided relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed, grounded and restored.
No previous yoga experience is necessary—simply come as you are, wear comfortable clothing, and allow yourself the space to rest.
Leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply nourished—body, mind and soul.
