About Esmee

Movement has always been at the centre of my life.

I began teaching Pilates and, over time, incorporated yoga into my practice, drawn to the way the two disciplines complement each other and to the transformative power of providing people with the space to move with genuine care and attention.

Over the last two decades, I have worked with people of all ages and experience levels. My belief in this work has only grown stronger.

My background extends beyond the studio. I hold degrees in Social Science and Social Work, and I worked as a social worker alongside my teaching for much of my career, in community settings and hospitals, supporting adults through some of life’s most challenging moments. I am also a qualified wellbeing coach. This combination of academic grounding, professional experience, and coaching training lends depth to my work that can be felt as well as explained.

One Body. Love It. is where it all comes together: years of teaching; a deep understanding of people under pressure; and a genuine belief that how we feel in our bodies matters. It is a space where movement, people, and wellbeing converge.

Outside of work, I am happiest spending time with my family, playing the guitar and piano, sailing and slowly renovating our home. I also share my life with Marley, our Birman cat, who takes his role as chief relaxation officer very seriously.

About Esmee

Working with your body, not against it.

I work as a Pilates instructor, yoga teacher and wellbeing coach, informed by over 15 years of experience supporting adults in high-stress and complex settings.

My approach is grounded in the belief that the body holds more wisdom than we often give it credit for.

Real change happens when we learn to work with the body, rather than against it. This might be through movement, conversation, or a combination of both.

Whatever brings you here, you’ll be met with warmth, patience and genuine attention.

In classes

Sessions are intentionally paced, adapted to the people in the room, and never about pushing harder for its own sake. Strength, ease and sustainability are the goals.

In coaching

I take the time to understand what's actually going on for you. Whether that's managing stress, improving mental health, or simply finding a way to feel better day to day.

I joined Esmee’s Pilates class and was immediately impressed by her professionalism and warm, supportive manner. When I mentioned I was struggling with menopausal weight gain, she suggested wellbeing coaching. The sessions were incredibly helpful. Rather than telling me what to do, Esmee asked questions that helped me find my own answers. I identified habits I could change without feeling deprived, lost 5.5kg over three months, and for the first time in my life took up running. I can’t recommend her highly enough, both as a Pilates teacher and personal coach.

After starting Pilates with Esmee I have felt so much better in my body, I can feel a real difference in the way I hold posture and the back ache I have had for ages has completely gone. I have also learned so much about my body. Esmee’s classes have a lot of variety which is good for me, because I can get bored quickly, but the hour just goes so fast. My Pilates classes have genuinely become the highlight of my week and really also help me to feel less stressed too.
