What information we collect and why
Contact enquiries
When you use the contact form on this website, you provide your name, email address and the content of your message. This information is transmitted via Brevo (an email relay service) to our inbox at Google Workspace. Brevo acts as a transient relay only and does not retain your data. Your message is then managed manually via email. We do not store contact form submissions on our website servers.
We process this data on the basis of legitimate interests – specifically, to respond to your enquiry.
Newsletter signup
If you choose to sign up to our mailing list, we collect your email address only. This is handled via an embedded Mailchimp form. Your email address is stored in Mailchimp and used only to send you updates from One Body Love It. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
We process this data on the basis of your consent.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use this website. This collects anonymised data about pages visited, time on site and general location. Analytics cookies are only placed after you have given your consent via our cookie banner. Google Consent Mode is enabled, which means no analytics data is collected before consent is given.
We process this data on the basis of your consent.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment information on this website. We do not run any booking system on this website. Class bookings are handled entirely by Bookwhen, and retreat bookings are handled entirely by WeTravel — both are independent services with their own privacy policies. No personal data is transferred from this website to either platform.
Third-party processors
To operate this website and our services, we work with the following third-party processors. Each is engaged under appropriate data processing terms.
Brevo – email relay (EU-based). Transmits contact form messages only. No data retained.
Google Workspace – email inbox and manual management (US-based). Google processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses as a lawful transfer mechanism for data leaving the UK.
Mailchimp – email marketing platform (US-based). Stores email addresses for our mailing list. Mailchimp processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can view Mailchimp’s privacy policy at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
Google Analytics 4 via Site Kit – website analytics (US-based). Processes anonymised usage data under Standard Contractual Clauses, and only after consent is given.
Complianz – cookie consent management (EU-based). Stores your cookie preferences locally.
IONOS – website hosting (UK/EU infrastructure). Processes standard server logs including IP addresses for security and operational purposes.
YouTube – video embeds using privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). No cookies are placed unless you choose to play a video.
How long we keep your data
Contact enquiries are retained in our email inbox for as long as they are reasonably needed to manage our correspondence with you, and deleted when no longer relevant.
Newsletter subscribers’ email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics in accordance with our retention settings, set to the minimum available (2 months for user and event data).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis.
